You’ve got mail…

Two online purchases arrived in the mail yesterday (…okay, actually one arrived Tuesday, but more on that and why I didn’t get it until yesterday later).

I will talk about the larger package that I got late in another post, but right now I want to focus on a cute little package I received right in my mailbox. It was this book:

Beautiful, beautiful book. It is a journal, actually. It has the old-timey, Reader’s Digest condensed look to it, complete with gold leafing on the sides. But what is best is inside. It is a journal. Not just any blank lines write away journal, but it asks you a different question for every day of the year, for five years. You work your way through the book five times, on the same pages. Then, as you go you can compare your answers to that of previous years. How cool!

And what better time than now to start? I am newly engaged, writing about how Gilles is currently in school an away from home, and five years from now I will likely be on mat. leave with a baby (or two!) in hand! Talk about change.

Each day only allows you room to answer the question at hand, one sentence.

Like this one for example:

… 😀

I bought mine from Amazon.

  1. Oh geeeez…I love this. Question books are like crack for me. Do you ever remember the All About Me books? Like mini-self-time capsules. Yummers!

    • It’s definitely addicting. I can’t wait until I get to this point even next year to see how different my mindset is.

…I don’t think I ever had the All About Me books? Was that a school thing?
